An Era of Growth and Formation: The 1970s – 1990s

From the 1970s to the 1990s, "Promsvyaz" actively developed, mastering the production of a wide range of vital products for reliable communication. From various modifications of telephone sets to switching equipment for automatic telephone exchanges (ATEs) and telegraph apparatus – all of this was produced here. The plant also manufactured specialized equipment for the needs of the defense industry and other strategically important sectors.

The enterprise was equipped with advanced machinery and production lines for its time. But most importantly, thousands of highly qualified specialists worked here: engineers, technologists, and workers who passed down their knowledge and experience from generation to generation. Many dynasties worked at the plant, making their invaluable contribution to its development. These individuals were true enthusiasts, deeply understanding the importance of telecommunications for the country's progress.

"Promsvyaz" products were known far beyond Kazakhstan and were actively used throughout the Soviet Union, providing reliable communication for millions of people and enterprises. The plant was not only an industrial giant but also an important social hub: housing for employees was built here, and social infrastructure developed. This created a unique corporate culture and a profound sense of belonging to a large and significant cause.

Today, "Almaty "Promsvyaz" Plant" LLP continues to be one of the main domestic suppliers specializing in the production and supply of equipment for the construction and modernization of communication networks and lines. We are also actively involved in the development and manufacturing of metal products and structures, as well as those made from other materials, for all sectors of the national economy.

On the territory of our industrial base, we also manufacture reinforced concrete products for communication infrastructure: KKS manholes, poles, measuring posts, as well as splitter blocks (SB, SBR) of any modification.
